Bank of Zambia Circular 03/2009 on Revised Open Market Operations Application Forms
The Bank of Zambia issued Circular 03/2009 to mandate the use of revised Open Market Operations application forms, specifically OMO L1 for lending quotes and OMO B1 for borrowing quotes. The updated forms require commercial banks to explicitly indicate the tenor of their quotes in addition to previously required information. These new forms became effective on July 20, 2009, and failure to comply results in the disqualification of the affected bank's application.
