ASIC cancels AFS licence of Beacon Wealth Pty Ltd
The Australian Securities and Investments Commission has cancelled the Australian financial services licence of Beacon Wealth Pty Ltd because the company ceased operations and failed to recommence business. ASIC determined that Beacon Wealth did not progress necessary licence variations, provide required information, or pay applicable fees after its licence was suspended in April 2025. The regulator rejected a proposed acquisition of the licence as a valid pathway to operate, concluding that the entity must apply for a new licence rather than revive the dormant one.
