Central Bank Circular No. 725 For Banks and Financial Institutions

We attach for your reference a copy of Central Bank Circular No. 13695 dated February 6, 2025, regarding the amendment of Basic Decision No. 5803 dated February 16, 1995, concerning interest rates and loan volume between banks and financial institutions, subject of Basic Circular for Banks No. 18.

Central Bank Circular No. 13695 Amendment of Basic Decision No. 5803 dated February 16, 1995

The Governor of the Central Bank of Lebanon, Pursuant to the Monetary and Credit Law, particularly Article 146 thereof, And based on Basic Decision No. 5803 dated February 16, 1995, and its amendments concerning interest rates and loan volume between banks and financial institutions, And based on the decision of the Central Council of the Central Bank taken in its meeting held on February 5, 2025,

Decides as follows:

Article 1: The text of paragraph (2) of Article Two of Basic Decision No. 5803 dated February 16, 1995 is repealed and replaced with the following text: «-2 The statement (-3INT) referred to above shall be transmitted daily, before 4:00 PM on the declared day.»

Article 2: This decision shall take effect one week after its issuance date.

Article 3: This decision shall be published in the Official Gazette.
