Interim Decision No. 13654 Amending Basic Decision No. 7858 dated 2001/6/30 The Governor of Banque du Liban, Based on Article 78 and Article 146 thereof of the Monetary and Loan Law, Based on Basic Decision No. 7858 dated 2001/6/30 and its amendments regarding statistical data, Based on the Central Council Decision taken in its meeting held on July 24, 2024, Has decided as follows:
Article One: The following seventh paragraph is added to Article One of Basic Decision No. 7858 dated 2001/6/30: "Seventh: All banks shall provide the Statistics and Economic Research Department with a statement of suspended deposits at the end of each quarter, classified by depositor type, according to Form (DPTR) attached to this Decision."
Article Two: The following Item (8) is added to Article Two of Basic Decision No. 7858 dated 2001/6/30: "(8) The statement referred to in the seventh paragraph of Article One shall be submitted electronically via the Electronic Statistical Reports Transmission Project (eSTR) within the SEBIL system, within twenty-five days from the end of the relevant quarter. Exceptionally, for the second quarter of 2024, an Excel file previously sent to banks by the Statistics and Economic Research Department shall be submitted by July 31, 2024."
