We enclose a copy of Interim Decision No. 13649 dated 27/6/2024 concerning the amendment of Basic Decision No. 13638 dated 4/6/2024 (communicating to Banque du Liban the names of shareholders and persons holding managerial positions) attached to Basic Circular No. 168.

Interim Decision No. 13649 Amending Basic Decision No. 13638 dated 4/6/2024
The Governor of Banque du Liban, pursuant to the provisions of the Monetary and Credit Law, particularly Article 70 thereof, based on the provisions of Basic Decision No. 13638 dated 4/6/2024 concerning communicating to Banque du Liban the names of shareholders and persons holding managerial positions, based on the decision of the Central Council of Banque du Liban taken in its meeting held on 26/6/2024,
hereby decides as follows:
Article 1: The following text is added to Basic Decision No. 13638 dated 4/6/2024 as "Article Two bis": «All institutions referred to in Article One above shall provide the Legal Affairs Department at Banque du Liban with the information required in both Articles One and Two above, in English and according to the attached templates (1-2-3-4-5).»
Article 2: This decision shall take effect upon its issuance. Article 3: This decision shall be published in the Official Gazette.
