Mansa Group director sentenced to imprisonment for forgery and dishonesty offences
The Australian Securities and Investments Commission announced that Mansa Group director Krishnakumar Sitaram Agrawal has been sentenced to four years and ten months in prison for forgery and dishonesty offences. Agrawal obtained over $20 million in loans using false documents and by removing directors and shareholders without their knowledge between 2017 and 2023. The conviction follows an ASIC investigation and results in the liquidation of the Mansa Group companies, with Agrawal eligible for parole in February 2029.
