Intermediary Decision No. 13137

Amending the System of the Central Office for Customers Defaulting on Payment attached to Foundational Decision No. 6060 dated 25/11/1995

The Governor of the Central Bank of Lebanon, Based on the Monetary and Loan Law, particularly Article 174 thereof, And based on Foundational Decision No. 6060 dated 25/11/1995 concerning the system of the Central Office for Customers Defaulting on Payment, And based on the principle of continuity of public service, And on the authorities vested in the Governor to ensure the operation of the Central Bank of Lebanon based on the general powers,

Decides as follows:

Article One: The period extending from October 15, 2019, to November 15, 2019, is included, under the assumption of fifteen days granted for the settlement of the status of returned cheques defined in the calculation of the deadline in Item (a) of Article 3 of the system of the Central Office for Customers Defaulting on Payment attached to Foundational Decision No. 6060 dated 25/11/1995.

Article Two: This Decision shall be implemented upon its issuance.

Article Three: This Decision shall be published in the Official Gazette. Beirut, November 12, 2019
