The Acting Governor of the Central Bank of Lebanon issued Intermediary Decision No. 13674 to amend Basic Decision No. 13611 by granting eligible account holders two additional withdrawals in October 2024 and one in November 2024, alongside regular monthly installments. The amendment adjusts the annual withdrawal cap from all banks to 250 L.L. for the current cycle ending June 30, 2025 and allows account holders with insufficient funds in their derived private accounts to request balance increases up to the statutory cap. These exceptional measures apply to depositors who submitted bank secrecy waiver requests before September 25, 2024 for the October installments and before November 1, 2024 for the November installment.
