The Governor of the Central Bank of Lebanon issued Central Decision No. 13407 to amend Article Four of Central Decision No. 13384, extending the validity period of exceptional cash withdrawal measures until February 28, 2022, with renewal capability. Enacted pursuant to Articles 174 and 70 of the Monetary and Banking Law, the decision takes immediate effect upon issuance. It was formally adopted by the Central Bank Council on January 26, 2022, and published in the Official Gazette.
