Circular No. 87 - Cabinet Decision No. 4 of 2021 Regarding the Minimum Wage
The Palestine Monetary Authority issued Circular No. 87 to mandate that all payment service companies operating in Palestine strictly comply with Cabinet Decision No. 4 of 2021 regarding the national minimum wage. The decision establishes a mandatory monthly minimum wage of 1,880 Shekels across all sectors and regions, alongside daily and hourly minimum rates of 85 Shekels and 10.5 Shekels respectively for casual and seasonal workers. These wage standards become legally enforceable for the specified entities at the beginning of 2022, with conflicting prior provisions explicitly repealed.
