The Central Bank of Lebanon issued Circular No. 51280 to amend Decision No. 6116, replacing the existing table of credit facilities with a new schedule of supported loans for banks and financial institutions. This regulation defines specific loan categories, including residential, SME, and environmental projects, establishing maximum interest rate spreads and support levels subsidized by the Central Bank. The amendments entered into force immediately upon issuance and are published in the Official Gazette.
