Decision No. 13184

Amending Decision No. 6574 dated 24/4/1997

The Governor of the Central Bank of Lebanon,

Pursuant to the Monetary and Loans Law, specifically Articles 146 and 179 thereof,

And pursuant to Decision No. 6574 dated 24/4/1997 and its amendments concerning the Balance Sheet and Income Statement prepared for publication,

And pursuant to the powers vested in the Governor to ensure the operation of the Central Bank of Lebanon based on the principle of continuity of the public service,

Decides as follows:

Article 1: The following paragraph is added to Article 1 of Decision No. 6574 dated 24/4/1997:

"Banks authorized to issue their shares to the public or for trading on regulated financial markets shall, exceptionally, publish the aforementioned statements concurrently with the publication of the audited financial statements for the year 2019 and subsequent years, as considered in the second paragraph of the third section of the year 2019 and thereafter."

Article 2: This Decision shall be enforced upon its issuance.

Article 3: This Decision shall be published in the Official Gazette.
