ASIC has disqualified Anthony Stephen Prior from managing corporations for five years due to his improper conduct and failure to meet statutory obligations during the collapse of three hospitality companies. The decision follows findings that Prior failed to exercise due care, maintained inadequate financial records, and allowed the companies to trade while insolvent, resulting in over $5.7 million in debts to unsecured creditors. Prior, who was previously involved in the failure of two other entities owing more than $181 million, may seek a review of this decision by the Administrative Review Tribunal.
