ASIC bans former MWL Financial Services Adviser Raluca Terheci for six years
The Australian Securities and Investments Commission has banned former MWL adviser Raluca Terheci for six years due to providing inappropriate and misleading advice regarding the high-risk Shield Master Fund. ASIC determined that Terheci was not a fit and proper person after finding her statements of advice contained false claims about the fund's performance and returns. The banning order took effect on 25 July 2025, following the dismissal of Terheci's application for review by the Administrative Review Tribunal.
