ASIC secures interim travel restraint orders against Blockchain Global director Ryan Xu
ASIC secured interim travel restraint orders from the Federal Court prohibiting Blockchain Global Limited director Zijing Xu from leaving Australia until 20 December 2025. The regulator applied for the ex parte orders while investigating Mr Xu in connection with the collapse of the ACX crypto asset exchange operated by Blockchain Global. Although the initial hearing date was vacated, the matter remains under judicial review as ASIC continues its investigation into the company's insolvency.
