Board of Trustees Decision No. 4 of 2015
The Board of Trustees of the Supervision Unit for the Microfinance Activity of Associations and Civil Society Organizations, under the General Authority for Financial Supervision, has issued Decision No. 4 of 2015 to amend the licensing timeline for microfinance operators. The amendment modifies Article Two of Decision No. (2) of 2015, explicitly requiring the Unit to process applications, verify compliance, and grant final licenses to eligible associations and civil society organizations by November 15, 2015. This decision was approved on September 30, 2015, published in the Egyptian Gazette and the Authority’s official website, and takes effect the day following its issuance.
