No. 87: Regarding Cabinet Decision No. 4 of 2021 Concerning the Minimum Wage
The Palestine Monetary Authority issued Circular No. 87/2022 to enforce Cabinet Decision No. 4 of 2021, which establishes a statutory minimum monthly wage of 1,880 shekels across all Palestinian sectors and regions. The decree additionally mandates daily minimum wages of 85 shekels for irregular and seasonal workers, an hourly rate of 10.5 shekels, and incorporates tripartite committee agreements while repealing conflicting provisions. Payment service companies are explicitly required to comply with these standards effective at the start of 2022.
