Circular No. 24/1/2007 Number of Granted Facilities and Number of Credit Cards
The Palestine Monetary Authority issued Circular No. 24/1/2007 mandating all Palestinian banks to report active direct and indirect facility files and issued credit card volumes to the Credit Information Bureau. Banks must submit the exact counts of these facilities and cards alongside their utilized balances according to a standardized table, with a submission deadline of the following week. The circular further specifies that any borrower holding multiple facilities requires separate disclosure for each individual loan, overdraft, guarantee, or standing credit granted.
