ASIC bans former UGC and MWL financial adviser Jovan Videkanic for 7 years
The Australian Securities and Investments Commission has banned former financial adviser Jovan Videkanic for seven years after finding he provided inappropriate and misleading advice regarding high-risk investments between July 2020 and February 2024. ASIC determined that Videkanic is not a fit and proper person due to his conduct involving speculative funds and false statements about their performance while authorised by United Global Capital and MWL Financial Services. The regulator has recorded the ban on the Banned and Disqualified Register and advised affected clients to lodge complaints with the Australian Financial Complaints Authority.
