ASIC permanently bans former financial adviser Anthony Joseph Del Vecchio
The Australian Securities and Investments Commission has permanently banned former financial adviser Anthony Joseph Del Vecchio from providing financial services following his conviction for fraud. Del Vecchio was sentenced to seven and a half years in prison for misappropriating over $4.4 million from clients, family, and friends between 2020 and 2023 under the pretense of investing in financial products. The ban, effective from 15 September 2025, prohibits him from controlling or performing functions in any financial services business and has been recorded on ASIC's banned and disqualified register.
