The Australian Securities and Investments Commission has disqualified David John Parker from managing corporations for five years due to his involvement in the failure of four companies that owed over $3 million to creditors. ASIC found that Mr Parker failed to meet statutory obligations by neglecting tax lodgments, maintaining inadequate financial records, and failing to secure control over company bank accounts. The disqualification remains in effect until 24 March 2031, though Mr Parker retains the right to seek a review by the Administrative Review Tribunal.
