The Central Bank of Lebanon issued Circular No. 522 to amend the fundamental decision No. 7144 concerning documentary credits and standby letters of credit. The regulation replaces the previous reporting form (3 MX) with a new form (4 MX) to enhance data collection on import and export sectors. This updated form requires detailed statistical reporting on the number and value of transactions by country of origin and destination, effective from September 30, 2019.
