GFG Alliance companies ordered to lodge outstanding annual reports with ASIC
ASIC obtained Supreme Court of NSW orders requiring GFG Alliance subsidiaries Liberty Primary Metals Australia, Tahmoor Coal, and Liberty Bell Bay to lodge outstanding annual reports. The court mandated specific lodgement deadlines for the companies' missing 2021 through 2024 financial reports to ensure creditors can make informed decisions. Subsequent court extensions were partially granted, but Liberty Bell Bay failed to meet its final deadline, prompting ASIC to file for its winding up in March 2026.
