Intermediary Decision No. 13337 Amendment of Intermediary Decision No. 13236 dated June 10, 2020

The Governor of the Central Bank of Lebanon, Based on the Monetary and Banking Law, particularly Article 70 thereof, And based on Law No. 347 dated August 6, 2001, concerning the regulation of the exchange profession in Lebanon, particularly Articles 13, 16, 18, 19, and 20 thereof, And based on Intermediary Decision No. 13236 dated June 10, 2020, and its amendments regarding the electronic platform for exchange operations, And based on the decision of the Central Bank Council taken in its meeting held on June 2, 2021,

Decrees as follows:

Article One: The following Item (6) is added to Article One of Intermediary Decision No. 13236 dated June 10, 2020:

« 6- The daily cash balances of the treasury opening and closing in Lebanese Lira against foreign currency, on the "Platform", provided that the Foreign Currency Unit at the Central Bank of Lebanon matches this information daily. »

Article Two: This Decision takes effect upon its issuance.

Article Three: This Decision is published in the Official Gazette.
