The Governor of the Central Bank of Lebanon issued Decision No. 13300 to amend Decision No. 7776 by repealing its repeated Article One, thereby updating the regulatory framework for credit, investment, shareholding and participation operations. This amendment aligns with Articles 70, 79 and 174 of the Monetary and Banking Law and follows a Central Council meeting held on December 9, 2020. The decision takes immediate effect upon issuance and is formally published in the Official Gazette.
