The Governor of the Central Bank of Lebanon issued Intermediary Decision No. 13557 to amend Basic Decision No. 13353 by repealing and replacing its foreign currency trading provisions. The amended paragraph stipulates that banks' foreign currency transactions with clients, excluding new funds, must align with the exchange rate adopted by the Central Bank in its own transactions. This decision takes immediate effect upon issuance and is published in the Official Gazette.
