ASIC disqualifies Veronica Roberts from managing corporations for five years

ASIC has disqualified Veronica Roberts from managing corporations for five years due to her involvement in four failed construction companies between 2018 and 2021. The regulator found that Roberts failed to exercise proper care and diligence, kept inadequate records, and traded while insolvent, resulting in approximately $3.5 million in debts including $1.2 million in unpaid employee entitlements. Her disqualification is effective until 2 September 2030, and she retains the right to seek a review of this decision by the Administrative Review Tribunal.
