Board of Directors Decision No. (82) of 2020
The Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) of Egypt issued Board Decision No. 82 of 2020 to suspend the issuance of new licenses for insurance and reinsurance brokerage firms for one year. The Authority has mandated its competent departments to draft a comprehensive study on the operational controls and conditions for these firms to support their development and market expansion. The decision takes effect the day after publication in the Egyptian Gazette and on the FRA website.
