Former NDIS provider director charged with dishonesty and ASIC examination offences
ASIC has charged Byson James Kete Turner, former director of unregistered NDIS provider Links Support and Consulting Services Pty Ltd, with dishonestly using his position to transfer over $858,000 to personal gambling and investment accounts. The charges also include failing to comply with two requirements to appear for ASIC examinations in May 2024. The matter is being prosecuted by the CDPP, with maximum penalties of 15 years imprisonment for the Corporations Act offences and two years for the ASIC Act offences.
