Decision of the Board of Directors of the Authority No. (17) of 2019
The Financial Regulatory Authority of Egypt issued Decision No. 17 of 2019 to exempt group microfinance insurance contracts covering recipients of financing from granting entities, including associations, institutions, and companies, from the review and approval fee for new insurance models and documents previously mandated by Decision No. 152 of 2018. This exemption is implemented to stimulate and encourage the expansion of microfinance activities within the Egyptian market. The decision takes effect the day following its publication in the Egyptian Gazette and on the Authority's official website.
