Decision No. 102 of 2007 on Concurrent Chairman and Managing Director Roles in Securities Companies

The Financial Regulatory Authority issued Decision No. 102 of 2007 to modify executive appointment rules within the Egyptian securities sector. The regulation explicitly permits a single individual to simultaneously hold the positions of Chairman of the Board and Managing Director across two distinct securities companies. This allowance expressly excludes brokerage firms, which must maintain a strict separation between board leadership and executive management.
