Perth businessman Chris Marco found guilty of fraud totalling more than $34 million
ASIC announced that a Supreme Court jury found Perth businessman Chris Marco guilty of 43 fraud charges involving over $34 million from six investors. His former executive assistant, Linda Marissen, was acquitted of all related charges due to insufficient evidence. Marco has been remanded in custody for sentencing, following a four-year investigation by ASIC and prosecution by the CDPP.
