Amendment of Basic Decision No. 7144 dated October 30, 1998
The Governor of the Central Bank of Lebanon, pursuant to the Monetary and Exchange Law, particularly Articles 70 and 174 thereof, pursuant to Basic Decision No. 7144 dated October 30, 1998, and its amendments concerning Documentary Credits and Letters of Guarantee, pursuant to the decision of the Central Council of the Central Bank of Lebanon adopted in its meeting held on December 17, 2025, hereby approves the following:
Article One: The text of the final paragraph "Article One (repeated)" from Basic Decision No. 7144 dated October 30, 1998, added by virtue of Central Bank Decision No. 13484 dated October 7, 2022 (Central Bank Circular No. 644), is repealed.
Article Two: This Decision shall take effect upon its issuance.
Article Three: This Decision shall be published in the Official Gazette.
