ASIC cancels Australian credit licence of John Adicho

The Australian Securities and Investments Commission has cancelled the Australian credit licence of Sydney-based licensee John Adicho due to multiple compliance failures. The regulator cited Adicho's failure to lodge six annual compliance certificates, expulsion from the Australian Financial Complaints Authority for non-payment of fees, and unpaid industry funding levies as grounds for the action. Adicho retains the right to apply to the Administrative Review Tribunal to review this decision, which was issued under sections 53, 54, and 55 of the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009.
