Marion Pearson extradited from New Zealand to face $4 million stealing charges

The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions is prosecuting former financial advisor Marion Pearson for 136 counts of stealing involving approximately $4.1 million from 13 clients. Pearson was extradited from New Zealand to Australia after her final appeal against extradition was rejected by New Zealand’s Supreme Court. She has been remanded in custody and her case is scheduled for a committal mention on 4 February 2026.
