Circular Decision No. 13233 Amendment of the Central Office System for Defaulting Customers Attached to Basic Decision No. 6060 dated 25/11/1995
The Governor of the Central Bank of Lebanon, Based on the Monetary and Loan Law, particularly Article 174 thereof, And based on Basic Decision No. 6060 dated 25/11/1995, as amended, regarding the Central Office System for Defaulting Customers, And in light of the exceptional circumstances currently affecting the country due to the outbreak of the coronavirus, And based on the powers vested in the Governor to ensure the continuity of public services,
It is hereby decided as follows:
Article One: A paragraph is added to paragraph (a) of "Article 3" of the Central Office System for Defaulting Customers attached to Basic Decision No. 6060 dated 25/11/1995, reading as follows:
"The period extending from 15/3/2020 to 15/6/2020 inclusive shall be included in the fifteen (15) days specified above and granted for settling returned cheques."
Article Two: This decision takes effect immediately upon its issuance.
