Fundhost pays infringement notice for misleading representations about Polen Capital Global Growth Fund
ASIC issued an infringement notice to Fundhost Limited for making false or misleading representations regarding the performance of the Polen Capital Global Growth Fund. The regulator found that a performance chart on the investment manager's website incorrectly combined data from a different strategy to falsely depict the Fund outperforming the MSCI ACWI Index. Fundhost paid a $19,800 penalty to comply with the notice, which was issued under section 12GX of the ASIC Act 2001.
