ASIC suspends AFS licence of MW Planning Pty Ltd following failure to replace responsible manager
The Australian Securities and Investments Commission suspended the Australian financial services licence of MW Planning Pty Ltd until 8 June 2026 due to its failure to appoint a new responsible manager after the banning of Robert John Tohill. The regulator also cited the company's failure to lodge required financial statements for the 2024 financial year and its omission of reporting these failures to ASIC. Although the licence was subsequently cancelled effective 4 May 2026, the company must maintain membership with the Australian Financial Complaints Authority and professional indemnity insurance until specified future dates.
