ASIC issues $792,000 in infringement notices to Canva Group for late financial reports
The Australian Securities and Investments Commission issued infringement notices totaling $792,000 to four Canva Group entities for failing to lodge their financial reports for the year ending 31 December 2024 by the 30 April 2025 deadline. This enforcement action is part of ASIC's 2026 priority to drive compliance with financial reporting obligations through targeted surveillance and penalties for non-lodgment or late lodgement. Commissioner Kate O’Rourke emphasized that timely reporting is a legal requirement essential for creditors and other stakeholders to make informed decisions.
