Amending Basic Decision No. 7858 dated June 30, 2001
The Governor of the Central Bank of Lebanon, pursuant to the Monetary and Exchange Law, particularly Article 146 thereof, and pursuant to Basic Decision No. 7858 dated June 30, 2001, and its amendments regarding statistical data, and pursuant to the decision of the Central Council of the Central Bank of Lebanon adopted in its meeting held on January 7, 2026,
hereby approves the following:
Article One: The text of paragraph "fourth" from Article One of Basic Decision No. 7858 dated June 30, 2001 is repealed and replaced with the following text: « Fourth: All banks shall provide, on a monthly basis, to the Data Management and Economic Analysis Unit within the "Economics Department" at the Central Bank of Lebanon, the following reports (-4A), (-5A), (-6A), (10A), (11A), (20A), (21A), (-1INV), (-2INV), (-1PFO), (-2PFO), and (-3PFO) attached to this decision. »
Article Two: The text of item (5) from Article Two of Basic Decision No. 7858 dated June 30, 2001 is repealed and replaced with the following text: « -5 The reports (-4A), (-5A), (-6A), (10A), (11A), (20A), (21A), (-1INV), (-2INV), (-1PFO), (-2PFO), and (-3PFO) referred to in the "fourth" paragraph of Article One of this decision shall be submitted monthly within a maximum period of twenty days from the end of the reported month, via the Electronic Submission Project for Statistical Reports (eSTR) within the SEBIL system. »
Article Three: This decision takes effect as of the suspended status dated January 31, 2026.
Article Four: This decision shall be published in the Official Gazette.
