ASIC cancels AFS licence of Arrumar Private for licence failures
The Australian Securities and Investments Commission has cancelled the Australian financial services licence of Arrumar Private Pty Ltd due to non-compliance with licence conditions and financial services laws. The regulator determined that Arrumar failed to join an external dispute resolution scheme and did not lodge required financial statements and auditor reports for the year ending 30 June 2024. This cancellation takes effect on 23 October 2025, though Arrumar retains the right to appeal the decision to the Administrative Review Tribunal.
