Circular No. (1) for the Year 2020
The Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) of Egypt issued Circular No. (1) for 2020 to extend registration and renewal deadlines for insurance and reinsurance brokers and trainees due to pandemic-related activity suspensions. The circular mandates that all training courses for these professionals be conducted remotely via the Authority's Financial Services Institute. It grants trainees whose training exceeded one year after March 15, 2020, until June 22, 2020, to complete registration, while registered brokers receive an additional month until June 22, 2020, to finalize renewal procedures.
