ASIC seeks Court order disqualifying David John Catsoulis from managing corporations
The Australian Securities and Investments Commission has commenced Federal Court proceedings to disqualify David John Catsoulis from managing corporations under section 206D of the Corporations Act. ASIC alleges that Catsoulis, as an officer of Warwick Gold Holdings Pty Ltd and Impact Gold Ltd, entered into disadvantageous agreements that contributed to the companies' failures and subsequent winding up. The regulator seeks a disqualification order to protect the public from future mismanagement, with the final hearing scheduled for the week commencing 29 June 2026.
