We enclose a copy of Intermediary Decision No. 13694 dated 2025/2/6 regarding the amendment of Basic Decision No. 7858 dated 2001/6/30 (Statistical Data) attached to Basic Circular No. 85.

Intermediary Decision No. 13694 Amending Basic Decision No. 7858 dated 2001/6/30

The Governor of the Central Bank of Lebanon, pursuant to the Monetary and Exchange Law, particularly Article 146 thereof, and pursuant to Basic Decision No. 7858 dated 2001/6/30 and its amendments regarding statistical data, and pursuant to the decision of the Central Council of the Central Bank taken in its meeting held on 2025/2/5, hereby approves the following:

Article One: The following text is added to Article One of Basic Decision No. 7858 dated 2001/6/30, titled "Eighth": « Eighth: All banks shall provide the Statistics and Economic Research Department at the Central Bank of Lebanon, exceptionally and only once, a statement regarding information on total or partial repayment of foreign currency loans after 2019/10/31, according to the attached model which shall be sent via an EXCEL file within a maximum deadline of 2025/2/19.»

Article Two: This decision shall take effect upon its issuance.

Article Three: This decision shall be published in the Official Gazette.
