Instruction No. 2012-I-01 of April 11, 2012, regarding the procedure for requesting an opinion on the appointment of specific controllers, as amended
The Prudential Control and Resolution Authority (ACPR) establishes the mandatory procedure for credit institutions and housing finance companies to request an opinion on the appointment of specific controllers. Regulated entities must submit a signed declaratory statement and completed annexed forms for each proposed controller, either as an individual or on behalf of a company, via the ACPR's electronic portal. This instruction, effective September 1, 2012, supersedes previous banking commission directives and requires immediate notification of any changes to the submitted information.
