Regulations amending Finansinspektionen’s regulations on payment institutions and registered payment service providers (FFFS 2019:3)
Finansinspektionen amended Chapter 9, Section 1 of its regulations (FFFS 2010:3) to specify the capital requirement calculation methods for payment institutions and registered payment service providers. The revised text mandates that these entities apply provisions from Articles 25–91 of EU Regulation No 575/2013 and specific sections of FFFS 2014:12, with Finansinspektionen determining the applicable method upon application. These regulations entered into force on 15 June 2019.
