Whistleblower Protections Regulations 2024
The Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Global Market enacted the Whistleblower Protections Regulations 2024 to safeguard individuals making good faith disclosures of financial crimes or legal contraventions by Global Market Establishments. The regulations mandate that these establishments implement written policies and procedures to facilitate protected disclosures, investigate concerns, and maintain records for at least six years. Non-compliance may result in sanctions imposed by the Registrar, including public censure, financial penalties, or the suspension or withdrawal of commercial licenses.
