PS13/7 Consumer credit: interim permission fees

The Financial Conduct Authority issues this policy statement to define the interim permission fees applicable to firms transferring from the Office of Fair Trading upon the regulator's takeover on 1 April 2014. The document specifies which entities, including licensed firms and credit unions, are required to pay these fees and identifies those exempt from the charges. This measure implements rules resulting from recent parliamentary legislative changes while a comprehensive consultation on the full proposed regime is scheduled for later in the year.
