Addendum to the Consumer Protection Code 2012 - September 2024
The Central Bank of Ireland issued this addendum to extend the Consumer Protection Code 2012 to credit servicers, implementing the EU (Credit Servicers and Credit Purchasers) Regulations 2023. The document amends Chapter 1 Scope to include credit servicers and updates Chapter 12 Definitions to align with Directive 2021/2167/EU. This regulatory change became effective on 17 September 2024.
