Regulation on the Net Stable Funding Ratio

The Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo issued this regulation to mandate a minimum 100 percent Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR) for all licensed banks, including foreign branches, ensuring long-term liquidity stability. It establishes standardized Available Stable Funding and Required Stable Funding factors based on asset maturity, liability type, and currency alignment, while specifying consolidated calculation rules for subsidiaries and derivative contracts. Banks must calculate and monitor their NSFR in reporting currencies, immediately notify the regulator of any breaches below 100 percent, and submit corrective plans subject to supervisory assessment.
